What is PASI ?

The Philippine Association of Supermarkets, Inc. (PASI) is the country’s largest association of supermarkets and groceries operating in major and emerging urban centers. PASI provides forum where members raise their concerns particularly those that significantly shape the future of food retail operations.

Through PASI member sharing, members are able to strengthen their effectiveness in dealing with the daily demands of the food retail business.

 

Who is entitled to membership in the PASI?

PASI is open to food retail business owners whose operations meet the association criteria for membership.

 

Classification of Membership

The members of the Association are classified as regular or affiliate members.

 

Regular Members

Regular members are food retail establishments that have passed the criteria for membership set by the association.

 

Affiliate Members

Affiliate members are food retail establishments that do not meet the criteria for membership in the association but whose major operations is food retailing. Examples of these will be convenience stores.

 

Benefits of PASI Membership

  • Opportunities for training through Conferences, seminars and fora.
  • Access to relevant documents and information on both local and international industry trends, continuing updates on current issues, practices, regulations and technologies. PASI closely coordinates with local government agencies, such as Department of Trade Industry (DTI), Dept. of Agriculture (D.A.)..etc.
